Adventurer Academy: Memoirs of the Lynx

When the frontier continent of Jaderis was discovered by airships braving the western winds, a fever full of adventure, exploration, and the promise of surmountable riches swept the heart of every person calling themselves "Adventurer".

Adventurer Academy was founded with the intention of grooming younger generations to become the greatest explorers, savants, and warriors the New World has ever received on its shores.

It is 40 years after its discovery that Keleborn "Kel" Lynx arrives at Jaderis' shores as a freshman in the Academy. However, he is nothing of the adventuring sort—he is shy, insecure, and afraid of risking anything. This is a story of friendships, love, adventure, and coming of age, as the young Kel overcomes his personal obstacles and assumes his identity as a great adventurer.

This is my entry for the MAL x Honeyfeed Contest. My prompts are based on the School Prompt Board with its own mix of other genres. The themes shown in this story are personal to me and quite endeared. I hope you like it and as always, all feedback is appreciated.
