Plaid: The Glass Tower

Kian Kona preferred to ignore and to be ignored, willing to do no one any favors. After suffering a nightmare-inducing tragedy when he was young, Kian forsook the role of 'the helper.' Even living in a teetering world of glass, sharing visions of scarcity, prejudice, and death with millions of doomed neighbors, couldn't persuade Kian to act on another's behalf.

The only thing Kian knew was his family.

But when a mysterious, clear-eyed stranger named Druce waltzes into his life, Kian finds himself slipping into the folds of interest. While Kian ponders if letting Druce in will destroy what safety he's secured for his family, the worsening conditions of The Glass Tower threatens the fate of all he holds dear.
