Seeing that it’s ended, I’ll leave the feedback i can muster here, since you helped me in the same way too:
First of all, the plot you have strived for is one I’m not really familiar with. A bunch of my friends are into computers and stuff (studying I mean) but I only know the bare minimum of the grand scale of things. Despite that the fact that you turned every hacking attempt into a battle made this story feel completely like an action novel 😁 and that I can appreciate. Even during the most technical part, most of the stuff made sense to me, a complete amateur. The stuff that I didn’t get, is because I don’t know my stuff and of course, when you dive so deep into a subject, people who don’t know about it are bound to miss a few points, but that didn’t take away any fun from reading, so don’t worry.
Your writing flows naturally, and despite me actually taking quite a while to read (it’s my thing I read slowly don’t know why 😂) it did feel like I breezed through it. Your descriptions allow me to say, DAMN BOI, I love them. Actually I’m secretly taking notes in order to improve myself too 😁
Now onto the characters. First off Isato. I feel like he’s not a run-of-the-mill protagonist and actually has a solid personality. He’s a great lead, and actually an asset to the story. He moves it forward instead of being dragged on by the plot and the cast. He knows what HE wants from himself and he strives to get it, so I really appreciate him.
Our girl, Kayami. At first glance she seemed rather mysterious, and kept things to herself. But Isato found her switch and she soon opened up revealing a sincere and collected girl, despite her conflicts. I think it’s fair to say I ship the hell out of her and our MC.
Next up we have the third most memorable character. Naoki. All in all, he felt really refreshing to read about. He’s got spunk he’s funny and also quite cunning. He’s definitely a friend I’d like to have and he cares a great deal about Isato.
Right after Naoki comes Rukami! Now her, while I do feel like she got the spotlight at the start and at one point I though she might be ArcticLynx, she kinda got neglected during the end. I like her personality and the fact she can get easily flustered. Imo, I could do with more scenes with her in the future, because truth be told I kinda lost her during the end. Of course that’s the author’s thing who am I to intervene? 😅 but still since you asked for opinions I humbly present mine 😅
The rest of the cast, including Ando-sensei MacKenzei-sensei and the rest of the members, are memorable but didn’t quite get enough depth for me to talk about, although they have their own fun personalities.
All in all, I’m anticipating what’s to come, and I’ll definitely be reading your upcoming project as well! Thanks for writing such a great and unique story, and until I see you again, take care my friend! 😁🫶🏻
