Thank you so much for the comment, your suggestion and your critique! It is true that people are usually a lot more complex than some by-the-book characters and I really appreciate it when I see characters that stray from what's expected of them and deliver more complex emotions. The downside is that I'm fairly new to writing more detailed characters and stories and I can't fully grasp how to write a character that is more complex from the norm (though I aim to try). Plus, as a romance-lover myself, I like to change things up a little bit from the norm (as far as feelings realizations and confessions go) and try different things. There IS also a mystery aspect that I'm aiming to work on through the story of this book, so please look forward to that too. Again thanks for your comment (and the donut) and since my reply was fairly long as well, have some ice cream 😁🍧
