GASP! I wonder who the last person to join the club will be... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ;3

I shall be brave and put the focus more on the romance I suppose! While there are certainly comedic moments, I do believe the relationship that forms here is the most important part :3

Ahhhh yes... Forced club entry! Even being from the states I got wrangled into a slam poetry club once so that there were enough members. The memories :'3

Gosh, thank you! It was a sudden inspiration and with how hard it's been getting friends to understand the "sentences" I've been brewing up, I can't wait to see what our poor protagonist has to figure out ;D
To:Gen/Esis
Ahhh that's quite fair, it's unfortunate because it's honestly a bit of both! I'll try to figure out which one to make the focus for the contest though.
I'm really glad you like the story concept though!

The general premise really caught me, and I honestly liked your cover — it stood out from an extremely manga-focused crowd. I'm looking forward to seeing this evolve!

I shall do my best! I suspect that there will be MANY shenanigans to be had here between an Eldritch Horror and a Single Mom :3
This is going to sound SO weird but I absolutely love your use of parenthesis? I wish more people would just be brave and use them. They really do show a way of thinking from a protagonist, giving an intimate view into how their mind works.
To:Supersession
The absolute best of us do, it's true!
To:Xan Ti
Ohoho! They certainly might, but will likely be quite shocked to see it's extremely wholesome ;3

This is so silly, but the idea of investigating a power shortage reminds me of a funny story where an old television knocked out the entire internet for a town for 8 months until people could figure out what was going on.
I have a funny feeling that's not where your story is going, but I had to share anyways ;P
I've never been big on things like big prologues, I like to gather bits of info on the world as I read the story. I can at least say the premise here is good enough that I'll give the second chapter a shot anyways!
