Awesome! You have a great talent for writing action sequences it seems and like others have mentioned, major GOTG vibes from this first chapter.
I'm really enjoying Jessie's humour and the way you write dialogue - it does a great job of showing the characters relationships with each other!
This is too funny, last chapter I was wondering if there would be gambling related antics in store and boy was I right. I love the hamburgers as paragraph breaks also!
