Reading Inokhen's mind-blowing analysis came as a smack in the face that reminded me that I was just like Hiromi in a way when I was younger. I got my PS2 after begging my parents for a long time, even throwing a few tantrums along the way. When I finally got it, it didn't take long for me to grow tired of it even though new games were still coming. Apparently, I never learned my lesson. I still have it, along with a PSX, PS3, original model of a PS4, and a PS4 pro which I'm still using. I think my older models are unstable so trying to sell them is out of the question. I'm feeling a little guilty right now, but that shows how much this story reminded me that I should not take my parents for granted whether it comes to what I want or need and that I always must be thankful that they're providing for me. Thanks for reminding me about that.
Overall, not only was this story an amazing read, it also had a moral lesson that hit me where it hurts. All of this packed into one short chapter... Stellar work.
