Ares - redemption complete? xD
Yeah, I could twist the way Ares was portrayed antagonistically in a more creative and dramatic way, but I had to stick to the 'wholesome' concept, so there was no other choice than make him like Zinia and Fantasia as a friend/sister.
And now when Ares was seen during the contest sparkling, it was exactly when Fantasia ranked first and Zinia second, so his plan was kinda falling into place xD
Yeah, his family really did influence him a lot but... he is still a nice, awkward person x))

I totally understand you xD Perhaps if this was an anime, she would be more likeable. I found many times that in the manga, I viewed some characters in a certain light but then when I heard the voice acting and saw movements in the anime, I had to rethink how I view the person, so... what I'm trynna say is that you definitely imagine her differently than I intended to write her, but I maybe it will be more clear towards the end haha :P

Damn, you are making me a little nervous here, your comments are on point but they make me feel like my writing choices are truly not believable and the writing was bad. BUT. That's not all there is to it, watch out for the final arc 😌

Okay, real talk now. I remember you said you loved Silveria because I managed to write her character in a very intruiging way. Is that lost now? x(

To be honest, when I was thinking of the whole Beauty Contest arc, I didn't know how to end it to prove my point. I couldn't let Fantasia place first, because that would be too unrealistic and a definition of plot armor. But I also couldn't let her be last, because in that case.. what was the point of all this. And any other placement would be too insignificant. So I felt like her withdrawing, especially with all her reasons, was the realest and best thing to do, while still being true to her character.

Although I do understand your point, but let's say... Silveria is the 'darker' version of Fantasia. Fantasia smiles at her bullies. Silveria wants to take revenge, if we go to extremes xD
