first of all, my apologies for the late response. to be frank, this comment meant so much to me that i wanted to reply in a way that would perfectly show my genuine thanks and feelings of appreciation but... i guess before even more time passes, it's for the best that i simply do my best in offering my gratitude in a heartfelt manner. thank you, very very much.
as for your comments; i have to say that i was a bit unsure whether using the "dream" archetype would be too cliche. however, i decided that i would go that route anyway, because it's all about what you build up from the archetype ^^ so i am glad that you have found the direction of my story to be unique.
it is also true that she became her own thanatos, and this idea came to me from the thought that all suicide attempts are, in a way, one's own invitation to death. if someone else offers, and you take it, wouldn't it be more "murder" territory, in a way? so, it made sense to me that the thanatos would be the main character themselves, when i set out to develop the story.
being someone who dealt with major suicidal episodes, i wanted to write a story that reached a positive ending. i am sure that there are many who would explore a more bitter ending, but for me, i wanted it to be a reminder that there is love and light in the world. might be idealistic, but this was my goal, to maybe remind the readers that life and love is really in the most mundane of things ^^ may we all realize that we are loved!
thank you again for your beautiful comment: it made me feel like "ah, it was worth putting this story out in the world." may you have a great day!!
