I like this first chapter. Anything with music will generally draw me in. 🤩 I’m curious how Daiki came to hang out with the sorts he does being an honor student and all, but I guess it’s a nice contrast too.

I’ve mentally ruled out Patrick to be honest. The leaker seems way too cocky (and careless) and Patrick strikes me as the type to at least cover his tracks. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Charlotte leaked herself. Would make for quite the twist.

He must smoke menthols. That’s the young ladies cigarette if you ask some folks I know. 😂 I liked the vibe in this one particularly, the narration is growing stronger with each entry. There’s nothing a girl likes more than oversized clothing, Carmine did the right thing.

HE HAS A MAN BUN? 😩 Honestly I really like the cute portions of this chapter, Imani is adorable as expected. 💝 Just one issue comes to mind for me though. This is their first meeting, right? I feel like he’s using strong language to suggest his feelings already, having just met her. It’s something I would understand if it was spaced a little further apart. Nice couple chapters though. I still remember the super (not) secret McDonald’s menu item that combined a McChicken and Burger 🍔 random food thought.

“Making me feel tingly inside” got a nice chuckle out of me for some reason. You mixed up the tenses you had established in the first sentence unless you meant “placed” instead of “places”

Haruhi was comedy during this whole chapter 😆 And the 4th wall break at the end. Something tells me that trying to go see Sumi will be ill-fated (like Ichika’s parents showing up to the same place maybe 👀) but that’s just a theory… I feel bad for that cookie 🍪 with some luck (and many more prayers) Haruhi might be able to make a Gordon Ramsey of her yet.

More Love Sorceress, my kind of Thursday treat! 🧙‍♀️💖 I get the struggle of trying to explain certain sounds when words don’t quite do it, even when I’m writing. Someone told me “you’re not writing a script!” so I stopped using *BOOM POW* to describe things. 😅 I feel the pain Roki. 😂 It’s too bad Claire missed the big reveal, but she still deserves kudos for her mad scientist off-screen arc 🧪 I’m excited for her to be right back in the action next chapter and beyond.
