I have not seen Hotarubi no Mori e, but it looks like a good short watch. (I also couldn’t help but notice it comes from the same studio as Natsume ✨) I’ll be sure to check it out.

This is quite a good read. One of the interesting elements of having a prompt in the first place is seeing how authors subvert expectations and interpret it on their own. Mr Okada’s grand farce hits home in the end, and the pacing was nice from beginning to end.

I had a feeling we were gonna get their backstory at some point, and it was just as adorable as I could have imagined. 💖 You’ve convinced me, I might have to get my own “OVA-esque” side stories going for Sakuta and co. in Hime x Hime.

But first, I’m currently working on the rewrite of my first novel “Ren X” in anticipation for JNC’s contest deadline. It certainly is looming, but I look forward to recreational writing once again once March rolls around.
