Maybe you meant “get” or “expect” here. 😊 You’ve kept up the writing really nicely and the crux of the story is hitting the way it’s supposed to for me on an emotional level. I concur with Walker on several points in terms of building up the romance, but I have the benefit of having several more chapters to read after this one as I’m just now catching up.
