And as for killing Theodore, it wasn't so much that she was sure he'll rat her out but more so that she can't afford to take even the slightest chance as she essentially living in a city where most people have guns for hands, and those guns shoots fires balls. (Slight exaggeration, of course, but hopefully you get what I mean.)
On the off chance that Theodore decides to rat her out, there's absolutely nothing she can do about it. Due the the curse placed on her, she can't even run away. Her curse had trapped her in this city and Theodore knowing her secret further drove her into a corner.
Then Theodore revealed his identity as the demon lord, which only gives her further incentives to kill him due to the effects the war had on her family.
