Thanks again for reading my story. I agree on first part of the story being too weak. As always, I blame the word limitation. Had to cut 40k words to fit in 80k as contest rules asking. Had more stuff in mind but ended up fast forwarding a bit.
Now if you interested to know the real truth, I could say one thing. Aura is the same thing as in Concrete coffin. This Aura is not Aura Rein knows. This is King Arthur's first wife Aura. After she died, king did all he could to resurrect her, but she ended up as now something known as demon. She was the first demon thus Demon Lord. She condemned, hated Arthur for what he did to her, what he turned her into and fled to demon plains. The whole Arthur sending Heros to kill her was not because he was weak but because he loved her and could not rise his hand to kill her himself. And after killing heros she absorbed them gaining strength and knowledge. That's how she was able to imitate Aura so well, also her personality was mixed up. Her generals just simply went along her words. Rein was right all along not to trust a word that come out her mouth. Also, she was the one who sent Kael to that mission, she pretended to be The king with illusion magic, and she did it to push Liora to tell Rein some bad things king did so that she could fool him, making him trust her.
So yeah, this is the real truth, and if I ever write second part of this story, this will be revealed. Starting with rein siting in his grandfather's throne, looking over town through broken windows at the burning kingdom. Arthurs words ringing in his head. Admitting that Arthur was right.
