Re: Elaine, absolutely! I think one of the first bits of feedback I got on her was that she just wasn't...aggressive or forward enough with her personality. I think I share one of your observation in Villainess stories where the villainess kind of just gets her way with little resistance, and I just didn't like that so I tried to write it a little differently.

Hi all. We are a little less than halfway through the planned first volume of The Villainess of Caerleon now. A few notes I wanted to share.

First, depending on the holiday week, I may delay a chapter or two depending on general commitments.

Second, the draft for The Villainess of Caerleon is complete. I've been writing with quite a hefty backlog, which has given me the wonderful opportunity to post a chapter every single day.

That being said, I'll be setting down the story for a week to recharge, read, and work on other writings, and will return afterwards to make edits. These will most likely be edits to shore up areas where the prose was less than exceptional and also clean out any inconsistencies in the plot. There were almost too many little details to track in this story!

I imagine this affects very few readers, but just a heads up that if one rereads the story and finds that certain details or sentences are no longer there, now you know why.

For those who have caught up so far, thanks for reading! In my completely unbiased opinion, the story only gets better from here! :)
