Thanks so much for staying with it till the end! Your comments are always fun to read. I think I wrapped it up pretty nicely for how much stress and little time I had to do it. (I wrote 2k words on the final day of the competition... 😔)
Shiori and Yuta are finally together for real this time. I wish I could write more to the story, but unfortunately... honeyfeed wouldn't want me to do that. Maybe I could write a sequel, or Shiori's backstory... and a spin-off with Hitomura as the protagonist... and Nakano could be an important character in his story... of course, I wouldn't be able to publish any of that, and I have far too many story ideas to write everything. But this one has been enjoyable!
(P.S. after I wrote a short story about trafficking, I've been huge on mental health stuff. At least trauma related things, since I researched like everything about trauma to get things correct in the short story. I'm trying to determine whether or not I should post that story to honeyfeed... it's appropriate, but I would have to include a HEAVY trigger warning because of everything it deals with.)
2nd P.S. I'm glad you enjoyed the story! Even one person liking it makes it all worth it 😊 I know I'm not going to win, but it's been fun.
