WOOOOOO what a wholesome ending!! Seeing Reo rooting for HER instead of the other way around was such a nice change! Honestly, reading this with nearly zero knowledge of sports was an interesting journey, and I even learned a few things.
I was particularly interested in Reo's development and was not disappointed. He rekindled his passion thanks to his team, and he really was lucky to find the right people who supported him and could also share his competitive nature (the heavy animosity from the other teams was no joke 💀).
Reo hated football because he associates it with the idea that failure = broken relationships (family divorce). And he was a kid so he took it REALLY bad 😭 The problem was never the game, but all that pressure and high expectations his dad had for him crashed down from just one unlucky accident.
I think it really was a great move that he still experiences losing games here and there to remind him of his failures, BUT THIS TIME, his team stays supportive unlike his dad, and getting to share his bottled up feelings to Shuna who turns out to share very similar problems was probably the last emotional support he needs to finally enjoy football again
Anyway im rambling again hadfgafddga I just really enjoyed reading. Congratulations on finishing Volume 1!!!
