Dude, you're killing it. You're dissecting all the little hints I had planned that I spent many moons cooking up (In reality, only a few days).
But yeah, Chloe is Clotho, Lana is Lachesis, and Alice is Atropos.
Chloe is the youngest of the sisters and the one who "Spins the thread." Being associated with birth, she is the most, shall we say, 'gentle and understanding' while having an air of naivety.
Lana is the middle child and the one who "Delivers the thread." Not being associated with birth or death, unlike her sisters, she's the most, uh... 'normal' of the bunch. I pictured her like I picture Hermes, just a free soul whirling in the wind, dropping off threads like Santa 😁
And finally, Alice is the eldest, the one who "Cuts the thread." Being associated with death, she is the most threatening of the bunch, often cracking jokes related to it despite the distastefulness. As the oldest, she takes responsibility for her sisters, making her the more mature and cool-headed than the others.
I like to think of myself as a Greek Mythology nerd, so it's actually really cool having a reader see the vision I was seeing when making these scenes 😊
