Originally, I was gonna have Aikami confess to them with something like "I love you," but I had the exact same idea you did. I wanted to make it unique and not bland, especially since his relationship with them has been anything but bland.
What was something that would be different and make sense with the context of the plot? Fate and simply existing. Aikami never existed to anyone else except for them, and they (as the Goddesses of Fate) have also always wanted to exist as something more than cogs in a machine. So the "You exist to me," just fits so perfectly.
Also, it's a throwback to the chapter, Dealing With Devils Pt. 4—where at the end, Alice says to Aikami, "I know you, and you exist to me. That should be enough for someone like you, hmm?"
That was him returning the sentiment.
