I like the writing style in this. Very dramatic, and it really helps the characters stand out.
Also, this story kind of gives me Invader Zim vibes, at least from what I've read so far. It helps that there's a similar amount of unhingedness in the characters.
In any case, this chapter was really fun to read, and I'm looking forward to reading more of this story down the line.

I ended up going with a variation of the chapter idea I had a while back. (I found a way to make it work).
