One of the things I was thinking about when I wrote this chapter was the idea of perspective and context. The way that you view a situation depends on the context you have for it. What is one person's adventure is another's tragedy.
And when writing this and the last chapter, I was thinking about how in many isekai and fantasy shows, there are scenes where the protagonist would go on a quest and heroically kill a monster. However, almost none of them thought about the perspective of the monster. What happened before the hero kills the monster? What were things like for the monster? What life did it live?
In most isekai shows, we see events from the hero’s perspective. But something that I wanted to look at in this story is how things were for everyone else.
