Brainwaves being converted to electrons is a proven possibility. But we all know that experiments can have unexpected side effects. In this case, they bounced around the cloud, only retaining key info. Since it's only a one-way connection atm, can't really do any surveillance. 🤠
I don't think the ending will be as sad as you think. If anything, they now have a direct link for moving Grace's thoughts to another.
