Actually, Daichi is on the Japan team. He was in Argentine for the World Cup (which was Haru's aim, lol). The photos with Grace were captured inside of the dream world, so the technology eventually advanced enough to record dreams (which was the goal of the joint research).
Maybe you'll see some of that dream walking through other people's minds in the future. 😉 It'll be a genre shift, but a more sci-fi story wouldn't out of the question for a sequel. The only question is... what heck should I name it? (I started this novel from just the title, lol)
