Been waiting desperately for my exams to be over so i can read honeyfeed novels obsessively once again lol, FINALLY.
Love how they perfectly complement each other, in their musical abilities as well as with their personalities and beliefs!
The selling your souls part hits really hard especially after the completely resigned and passive way of life that SprinkleStar8383 had from the beginning...just gives you food for thought

Unusually short chapter this time! I wanted to focus on the worldbuilding along with Neon and Aria´s growing relationship first, and didn´t quite know how to depict supporting characters like Lina and the others.
Although this is still supposed to function as a short intro and help propel the story further, there´s a high chance I´ll come back and rewrite this chapter again later to give the supporting cast more personality and nuance!

the comet part feels so much like Kimi No Na Wa but on steroids hahahaha
and aurora is such a fitting name.
amazing intro!! I love how the characters are trying to normalize their situation and rationalize it somehow (like her not caring what others think of her shabby getup), it makes the story feel more grounded and real!
