I didn't want it to be released in this state, but I got sick so many times and got super behind! I had to rush the whole second part of the novel because the deadline was coming up. I pushed it until midnight and just had to basically release an outline. :( My shoulder and knees hurt badly!!! I need to rest for days now!! AAAA!!
The plot twists are actually quite good and there's a ton of satisfying emotional moments at the end, but I didn't have time to write them.
I did proper time management, but germs were unpredictable and I only had 3 months to write. I spent a lot of it in bad health.
I think I'll re-release this as a new novel, once it's done for real, but it won't be able to be an entry for this contest.
It'd be Animaguard Redux or something, and it'd be a lot better if I had no deadline. (Or at least a less tight one. If I had even one more week, this would've been a lot better.) TvT I could even do a lot of illustrations too!!
Still give feedback, though (ideally not on the ridiculously busted chapters)! It'll make the second release better. I'm gonna rest SO HARD now.
