You can totally live comfortably without becoming a human Idol, according to the gov. A human Idol is seen as unneeded suffering by the majority. I wouldn't call it systemic oppression... since they have a UBI and most careers are viable. Just not this one, where humans and transhumans intersect and COMPETE. This gov is conservative in that respect. I should have wrote about examples of tragedies in the past, but thought it was too cheap.
