Okay, i get it. trust me, when i started the numbers were all I was worried about, like i would read some people's stories with many views and i was abit discouraged. Like one popular one and one i still follow is Elukard, his work rate is something i also strive to do, like he publishes so many chapters while i take so long to put out like 4 a month but that's also because i have many stories that am writing at the same time.
anyway, what i'm saying is I'm glad you follow my stories and when you finally publish your own, I will follow yours.
I do try to write as many ideas that i have in my head and while it may look like have things under control, it's because of the experience i got while writing in this platform and reading plenty of other people's story. I have also received advice from comments on how to write like i remember at first i would not separate the dialogues and they were messy and too robotic. i dont know if i have improved on that but no one has corrected me yet, so far so good.
Most of the stories i write are usually not planned out but I would advice you to atleast write an outline, that's what i do anyway. In my main title i guess UNSXNCTIONS, its a story that i have planned out from beginning to ending and when i first published i thought i would be done by now but as i kept writing, changing things here and there, the story got so deeper, the world and the characters and even though i still follow my original outline from years ago, i am not that committed to it. Like i am currently reworking somethings in my current arc that is proving difficult connecting it to the next arc.
i dont want to write a whole textbook here, but final words, just publish whatever you have as long as you think its great, it doesn't really matter about the numbers and all...although it does feel good. still just focus on telling a story the best way you know, you can also do some research on youtube or even ask advice from people here who are great at this, like the winners of the contests and stuff.
