Thanks, yeah, the ending I originally had in mind would not have made sense without an arc I had to cut for words. Honestly, I had about hundreds of endings, each with different complications but this one was what I enjoyed the most. And yeah, the fact that it is open-ended, will make it possible to return to this should I feel that "urge" for a second novel. I know that feeling well, like when I get a comment liking a chapter I wrote and looking forward to more??
I'm like oh shit I can't let that person down, I have to write the shit out of the next couple of chapters and try to prove I'm a writing savant which i'm not.
I agree the feeling is good but secretly it's like what if people don't like it? And then you publish two plus chapters without a single like and you're like Oh, no I probably did something wrong but yeah, it's scarrrry......

Oh, this was a choice😅
When I wrote this story i was learning about cliches and tropes, we all know about them and I thought what if I tried to use what i find annoying most. The cheating douchee fiancee/boyfriend, the younger hot sister, the MC trying to get over heartbreak. I wasn't inventing the wheel or anything like that but I thought how could I challenge myself with that and this is what my crazy mind did.
So, thanks to everyone who gave this a read and yeah, next month I guess.....

I was tempted to go the other way with Leah and Clara but I didn't like it as much.
This could definitely have worked as a final chapter but I don't know, I felt it lacked that 'ending' I wanted, so...
Yeah, I can see that. I could have done a much better job with that, especially between the mother and Leah but because of the short nature I had planned, I couldn't really get that deeper into it. Thanks for comment.....
