I realllllly enjoyed Echo’s reveal. there were subtle hints right at the start, like him not being there when the giant stone creature returned to retrieve Sayane. And I really liked portraying his complexity from the get go. he is still learning not to despise the underworld because he was told to. the serum makes him admit he is starting this purely selfishly. I wanted to show that in rebellion and revolution, there will be all kinds of people who have to come together, all with different perspectives and motivations. his journey is tragic and compelling.
