Yep! I wanted this story to really delve in to isekai’s concept of second chances. Sayane may have never succeeded in her first life, but she fights and holds on to believing she can be something. it’s a roller coaster, and she has to hit rock bottom first, but ultimately she is a character of hope.

Kaze gets it. Yes there are not a lot of mecha aspects really in this story other than Azag pilots this mech, but it was definitely my love letter to all the mecha anime I watched as a kid. it’s named Esca as a nod to Escaflowne. but the story as a whole is definitely a tribute to those anime and PS2 era JRPGs. thanks for checking it out!

good! I view all of my stories as character pieces first so I want them to always have that at the forefront, even when it’s a grand story some some of my other works. I think character focus is really important for psy horror especially so that it really lands.
