just before Ovlivion consumes them…😭
good! I’m glad it was a surprise.
Miu did not come here to be nice.
I kinda hate that this isn’t even really sci fi anymore. Here in the US, we literally have several technocrats heavily outright manipulating our government while talking about transhumanism. I’m sure it’s the same in many places. like it’s not even sci fi anymore, we have it starting.
it was a small but important moment. a goodbye of sorts before the destruction begins. two lost souls clinging to one another. Miu getting to be soft for the briefest moment. Yuki’s acknowledgment that he still feels shame towards his body. looooots of intense emotions.
I do in the bits I’ve played!
in a terrifying way, I imagined this as a holiday season story that people would pick up to read in the cold of winter…
watch us cry them all
Emi is a champ. Pregnant and completely unfamiliar with what is happening, immediately jumps in to help.
Taki being the emotional anchor of all this is probably my favorite surprise for the entire story. he’s the duality to Miu and Yuki. they all grew up together, but his life went drastically different and he was able to heal. in a tragic way it begs the question of just how happy and healed could Yuki and Miu have been if only things had gone even slightly differently on the night they tried to run away…
our boy. our poor, innocent boy.
maybe… but will he or we like what we find?…
canyoufeelthefiregrowing?
can Yuki and Miu hold on to that humanity?
our poor poor children. finally reunited but so very different.
