Thank you! I’m really happy with that scene because it’s very important in Hazuki’s growth. it’s subtle, but it shows how far he’s come. Up till then he only talked to strangers out of desperation or in some context with Naoe: Matsumoto about the trees. Emi about the aeon curse. The maiko because she was already talking with Naoe. this was the first time he went to talk to someone for his own reasons, and it was merely to be kind.
