The stuff about her new body feeling better, the chance to choose a new name that fits her better, and the uhh, mentions of having a bigger chest all read to me like a possible trans allegory. That of course was The Whole Point in the first !novel, but here it seems like more of an incidental thing, a smaller and less literal aspect of the story.

Oh fuck yeah. This chapter is already even better than the last somehow, the narrator is really charming, they made this a lot more engaging to read.

Scarlett's death by house fire is really terrifying, especially since it's a direct result of the troubles in her life, far more interesting than the usual isekai truck death (RIP Mama Renoir), and the place where she's transported seeming beautiful at first but slowly getting creepier until Scarlett realizes she's actually in danger is extremely well done.

Yup, that's some good stuff.

I loved the way the rejection letter was written lol, like it's perfectly designed to piss you off ("excuse the pun"), really puts you in Scarlett's state of mind.

The narrator being a character is also a very interesting and very charming choice, I love that type of thing.
