Ooh shit, our girl’s gonna have to do an RL1 run.

Anyways, that was a remarkably chill goddess. Though she clearly has some stuff she’s hiding.

Now it’s crack theory time. The narrator is obviously on some level omnipresent, and a mind reader, both traits shared by Tethys. The narrator also says “I truly am fond of her”, implying they know her on a personal level. So from this incredible mountain of incredibly concrete evidence, I have reached the conclusion Mysterious Narrator Lady (MNL for short) is in fact Tethys’s sister that she mentions.

Phoebe is definitely my favorite so far, in no small part for calling Damos a bum. Like, I love the guy, but that’s probably my favorite word, top 5 at least.

I presume that when cammy (we’re chill like that) gets her Aspect she’ll be using that rusty dagger she’s been carrying around.

Good ol’ Damos is a complete doofus with no risk of ever figuring out anything about Cammy (we’re chill like that), so I’m suspecting that Phoebe or someone else soon is gonna have a real brain on them to start a bit of classic isekai tension.

The stuff about her new body feeling better, the chance to choose a new name that fits her better, and the uhh, mentions of having a bigger chest all read to me like a possible trans allegory. That of course was The Whole Point in the first !novel, but here it seems like more of an incidental thing, a smaller and less literal aspect of the story.

Neato. Just a little interlude chapter to establish our next goal.

The lampshading about location names got a chuckle out of me lol.

I'm already seeing some analogies to similar themes as your last novel, though less literal. Very interested in seeing where they're taken from here.
