Thank you for another amazing comment—I always enjoy how deeply (and mischievously!) you read into Ryoko’s rules and curses 😄
Missing Rule #101:
Haha, love your suggestions! “Hand over all your earnings” and “No bald heads allowed” definitely sound like something Ryoko might jokingly write… or maybe not so jokingly. I imagined Rule #101 as something incredibly personal, maybe even embarrassing—something Shota isn’t allowed to share. Like, "No matter what happens, never stop loving me first." That’s Ryoko's version of vulnerability, hidden deep in the rulebook.
"You're weaponizing tears!?"
Exactly. Ryoko will weaponize anything if it gets her what she wants—tears, smiles, chocolate shortages… even silence. She’s resourceful like that. Dangerous, too.
Chocolate stash logic:
Yes! You nailed it. Japan is full of vending machines and conbini, but the real issue is Ryoko’s terrifying sixth sense. She’d feel the endorphin spike instantly, and her wrath would be swift. That time she found a melted stash under the kotatsu? Let’s just say Shota still flinches when he hears foil wrappers crinkling.
The Curse of Absolute Obedience:
You're right—it’s powerful, and Ryoko could have used it more. But I intentionally held it back for story reasons. At this point in the series, readers are still unsure if Ryoko is a heroine or an unhinged goddess of control. So I saved the full reveal for later. Let’s just say… some people are going to learn exactly what that curse means.
Article 51 & the cornfield (Twilight Zone wink!)
Haha, yes! Love the TZ reference. Ryoko may not literally send people to the cornfield, but let's just say “flirty women” tend to vanish from Shota’s orbit very quietly. Article 51 isn’t about trust—it’s about early warning systems. Ryoko can’t stand being blindsided, especially when it comes to “competition.”
