Personally I don't think you need to add the character names at the start of the POV changes. Since you write in third person mentioning the character name in their scene one or two times would be enough or maybe you don't need to do anything at all cause it was really two scenes when I felt a little lost so nothing major.

As for the characters I like Ren the most he's definitely intriguing to follow. I didn't care for Reina in the beginning but she's growing on me. As for other idk they're fine but I'm still on chapter 8 so will see.

Honestly I like the pacing so far but I'll elaborate as I read more and tell you what work and what doesn't imo👍

I think you're striking that balance well so far. I don't think you're cut and dry tbh, I found the atmosphere really griping while you communicated the important stuff.

Although in later chapters the jumping between characters a little confusing but nothing too bad I understood it after a reread (honestly could be me bc I didn't read survival genera for a long time)

Okay first of all congratulations of finishing on time 🎉 that in itself is a huge win especially since you were busy and editing it your self, managing to write when irl stuff hit is not for the week!

Now I have few theories in my head... Is shun responsible for the humanoid creatures? Or he just aimed to finish the demon king? Was Talmarius planning on something? And poor Irina two betrayals in one month...

I didn't wanted to comment a lot on the previous events bc I was really curious to see how things played out. I loved how you didn't end the story on the world ending event, that was smart! The last lines of the epilogue made me scream WHAT WHAT WHAT internally though.

Always felt you were aiming for a longer story so maybe vol 2 when life slows down?? *slide money on the table* 😂

I remember commenting smth like 'this is gonna be fun' on the first chapter and indeed it was. Fun, exciting and emotional too!
