Grabbing his dick was crazyy The "Well, he'd killed her" is also crazy. Did he have sincere feelings for Mango? I have my first quibble since I started reading this~ "His skin went pale, despite its chocolate tone" reads really awkwardly. What about "His skin went gray" (I've seen brown skin get grayer when the person is really scared) or if you want to keep what happened, like a different arrangement "His skin, usually deep brown, went pale" because the way you have it phrased now is like saying it's brown and pale in a contradictory way but simultaneous
That DOES feel extremely invasive! I really like how you integrate the LitRPG feeling into "real life". Like I mentioned earlier, your story feels stylized but at the same time very real; the reactions help a lot, and the small details, like bringing up military training simulators based on CoD. I also like how John has his own motive to succeed now. I felt like I wouldn't really root for him carrying out the CEO's missions because he doesn't want to, but now if he does well he can save the lives of his siblings
