This is so dark and gritty. Love how clear the dehumanization of the mules is. But thank the gods for that youngling priest and his enthusiasm. And, why do I have a feeling they'll somehow blame that explosion on him....

Haha, GO KITEEEEE!!!! She's cool, and yeah... it was definitely worth it, flattening those jerks. Now, let's see just how deep our sweet, bookworm hero's amnesia goes. He clearly knows his name -- but has no clue he's the Hero with a capital H...?

Pls, do feed the birbs! Kite is already such a great character. Felix seems to be in need of a partner with a bit more spunk. <3
Smooth and really cute way to introduce the Hero and his backstory. For a moment there, I got Belgarath telling the tale of Sheogorath - and I'm as excited as those kids to see the continuation of the story.
I'd like to think that it can only get better from here for poor Avii, but I have a feeling it'll get a lot worse first. And I'm very curious to find out just what happened that day on the mountain. Did you dig too deep, too greedily... unleashing a horror?
Cool start, I really like the practical tech-magic, and I'm already claustrophobic from the depths of that mine.

Aaah, for a moment I was worried you were going for 'sad horror ending' there -- but then it went happy romance -- as it should. ❤️
This was a cool story, I really liked both Salte and Lise and wouldn't mind reading some spin-offs with them in the future.

Etlas of Anomalise does have a certain ring to it. 😉

This was really sweet and fun. Love the idea of anomaly therapy and a 'helpful', quirky sentient book-companion. That poor baby anomaly. Sounds to me as if Mr Connolly got what he deserved!!

Yes, me too. I need a break from all that sad -- so I'm happy I went with this instead of the other horror idea.

"octopussies" 😂🐙😂

That sounds like a pretty accurate observation. xD
This was hilarious, cracky, and very sweet. With just enough spice. Louis and Elaine are a great duo... love potion or not. ❤️
Teamwork did the trick; they PASSED and even did some bonding over spices. ❤️
Romance!!!! Cooking together never fails.
