Hah, loved how the spirit bullied Kaoru into doing a good deed. Interesting world building too, love all the little details and was chuckling at the 'distant cousin' comment.
Now, let the adventure begin. 💜
I really like that dark, realistic background you're going for. I wasn't expecting Kaoru to invite his new 'friend' to leave with him so quickly, but I do hope they take him up on the offer. They've spent enough time in that house... 🥺
This is an intriguing start. Love the historical setting; the atmosphere is great -- as is what I assume is only the first out of many interesting meetings between two sassy beings. So far, the 'ghost' is my favorite. 💜

At least her lashing out like that will be a pretty big wake-up call for Yohei -- who really should have told her ages ago. He's pretty cooked. But... suffering builds character, right? 🥺
She'll give him a chance to explain, for sure. (Small spoiler: I'm not a fan of long misunderstanding arcs... 😉)

She did find out -- in the worst possible way. But, she'll give him a chance to explain, for sure. ❤️

Thank you for checking it out. And yes. Cute and cozy is the goal.

Oh yes, he really should have told her a long time ago... and yes... his secrecy might backfire... at least temporarily... 🥺
We are getting closer to the emotional rollercoaster of the prompt... but, no spoilers...🤐

Haha, thank you! *takes a bow and straightens crown*
More fluff to come. 🥰

Definitely allowed -- but to be fair, Kijima is probably just following instructions too...
Happy to see you excited for their next date! I am too -- let me just say 'wintery fluff'... ❄️🥰
Yes, he finally got on with it!!! And, well, plenty of time for more fluff before, um... *stuff* happens...
Yes, it was definitely about time he made a proper move. 💜

And, fate intervenes! Yay! And good on Mel for mentioning coffee. I also already like the gallery director.
Oof, poor Nina. Passivity does give that full sense of safety. The mirroring between them is so well done. 💜
Oh, great with some glimpses into Mel's past. I was wondering what made her carry around so much anger.
Also nice to see the way her and Nina's thoughts mirror each other, and how both struggle to admit the other might be interested. I wonder who'll take the next step.
Oh my... The awkwardness of a budding relationship... 😅 But it's great to see how similar they are, beneath their outward personalities.
