I'm heavily into some anime that has lore based stories, but also someone who loves romance/ecchi and gun-action based anime.

I feel so bad for Yuya, he's so innocent yet fragile, and he doesn't deserve this😭
This is a really great start of a chapter though, keep it up!
Although I have some questions and suggestions for improvement if you don't mind :D

My question is, is the father also abusive toward Yuya or only Hokuto? I might've missed it like an idiot and I'm sorry if I did, but I was just curious😅

And my suggestion might be a little harsh, and I'm so sorry but I'll try my best not to sound harsh.
Your first chapter is a little too long, being over 4000 words. Not because there's anything wrong, but that means it will take longer for other people to read it, and not only that but a lot of people actually prefer that a chapter is around 1000-2000 words and not over. This is because people admit they're lazy.
I'm sorry if I sound too harsh, but I just wanted to tell you so you can attract more readers in your future chapters and not have people instantly skip your chapters after they find out they're way too long.

Although really good chapter, and I look forward to reading your next chapter😆
