The story is interesting, but the formatting is kinda all over the place. It looks like you're starting a new paragraph every 1-2 sentences - and it looks like Mai handled all of that already lol

You've mentioned being able to fix the other chapters but not this one for some reason. Have you got any ideas as to why that might be?

Some people are, alas, just way too accustomed to "the way things are supposed to be" (i.e. waiting to be told what to do, waiting for help to arrive, not taking serious matters seriously enough because everything will be alright). In cases like this, it does result in very tragic circumstances.
