Nice to meet you! I'm Tochika, a writer from Japan.
I write my stories in Japanese and use ChatGPT for translation and illustrations.
I’m fascinated by Japanese folklore—especially yokai (supernatural beings), ghosts, and other mysterious presences known as kaii.
They often appear in my stories, and I sometimes add short notes to make them easier to understand.
Most of my works are gentle, slice-of-life tales set around haunted or abandoned places—showing quiet, heartwarming moments between kind and sometimes ghostly characters.
Some short stories take a different tone—mysterious, unsettling, or emotionally strange.
I mark those clearly in the tags or description.
I update every Tuesday and Friday at 8 PM (PST/PDT).
If you enjoy calm supernatural stories with a Japanese touch, I hope you’ll find something to love here.
Thank you for reading!

One day, quite by chance, a single cherry tree was discovered. At night, the way it bloomed as if softly lit made it seem like a springtime feature known as *hana-akari*. But there was one rumor about that cherry tree. —On the night of full bloom, anyone who is captivated by its flowers is s...
