Hi, I just finished reading Chapter 5: Crazy Scientist from A Night is All I Need (remake), and I genuinely enjoyed how tense and unsettling it felt from the very first scene.
The empty white room, the round table of world leaders, and the immediate clash of egos set a strong political thriller tone. The reveal of the Warlord’s presence, followed by the hologram of the ghoul with its blackened skin, crimson eyes, and stone-like texture was especially vivid. It felt cinematic, like a reveal meant to be seen, not just read.
What stood out to me most was Nade’s entrance. His unhinged energy contrasted perfectly with President Kale’s authority, and the Brightborn vs Darkborn idea added a deeper mythological layer beneath the political tension. The way some leaders laughed while others stayed silent made the scene feel realistic and unsettling, especially with the crimson moon looming in the background.
I’m a commissioned comic/manga artist, and while reading this chapter, I kept visualising how powerful these moments would look in comic form especially the hologram reveal, Nade being dragged in by soldiers, and Kale completely losing his composure. No pressure at all, but I’d love to turn parts of your story into a comic adaptation if that’s something you’d ever consider.
