More thoughts/feedback: try and vary your sentences up a bit. Some of them have the same structure/begin with the same things in super close proximity to each other. Also, with the sentences related to dialogue, I think you should have them on the same line as the dialogue, otherwise it seems out of place. Like for example, the "Shut up" followed by the "Alyx responded" sentence.
Some thoughts about the latter half of the chapter. I feel like the paragraphs are way too big and things drag on with it. Feels like it could have been condensed down to make room for some other things, possibly other parts of the story instead of all the details you included. (it's also a fairly abrupt ending to the chapter)

Thanks for more feedback. I don't think I can do another chapter with Maple's POV, but will explore with playing with POV more for future things I write (probably for whatever the next contest is).

Stay tuned, I'll have the next chapter up in a bit :^)
Interesting to see how you view things. I kinda wanted there to be some drama so that it's not just all happy without any substance, so I made sure to give Maple some of her own thoughts on things as opposed to just following Paige on every beat. Maybe I didn't write it well enough for that to come across, or maybe it's just how you view things. Not really sure
I had it mentioned in an early chapter about her not being able to find information on the house. Back then, she didn't have the names of the spirits or any leads like that, although I could have probably explained things better to show why she couldn't do more research. It's another of the things I would have done better in hindsight, but it's now more just something to learn for the future.
