Shaw is a great character because he expands the world naturally and drives home the morally gray nature of the story. I like it when there are no clear good guys and no easy choices.

Great payoff chapter. The king and Leo counter investigating Sybill and Co was a great reveal. Now I want to go back and check if there was a hint that "Leo" wasnt the real Leo because if there was I missed it.

But the true culprit is still at large.

That's fair, the Devine blessings system sure can explain it. I retract my criticism there, instead the game becomes "what kind of blessing(s) has Crow have that can explain what we have seen so far?"

Probably something related to illusions and/or fast travel.

That was excellently done, the subversion of expectations (I expected Felix to follow trough with his plan to leave and face Crow allow); him realizing that it would have been the wrong move and Crow showing up early and exactly then.
The threat to Kite also feels very real, you wrote it in a way so that she could either survive or die either seems possible. Felix probably is using his healing magic on her even during the fall, rather than fighting Crow which might come back to bite him.

The cliffhanger is excellent as well.

The one "complaint" I have, and it is a soft one, is that the magic feels very intransparent despite being near the end of the story. I still don't know how Crow's magic works or how much healing magic can do. The spirit sentries also feel new. It is a valid choice for a soft magic system but it nags at me just a little bit.

This chapter is interesting because the mystery of the barren fields seems connected to the overarching mystery. Leo's role is also very interesting and suspicious.

Future Sight is a challenge indeed but it works as a way to setup the confrontation with Crow. He seems to be the true final boss rather than the Mad God's generals.

Also the "I'm sorry" is what worries me. Felix will probably escape and try to face Crow alone. But then Kite and Elora will drop in at the last second and save the day... Just a guess.
