Making up rumors brings me back to Shuuen no Shiori which I hadn't thought of in awhile I like the way you handled the dialogue, too. I'm a sucker for all dialogue scenes lol
Really diggin your writing style. The cover made me think this would be somewhat darker, but it has an almost comedic sense to it. Is your main character the one on the cover?

I was not expecting this to go this way at all. Oh man, I laughed at so many parts 😆 "in other words, she's still the same bitch, but with a couple of connections" made me laugh the hardest. WinterTimeCrime is right, this is comedy gold
