wow, this was such an amazing ride from start to finish. thank you for posting this somewhere on the internet for us to read. it's truly, no joke, a masterpiece. i said this before, but it feels like this should be a movie Now.
i don't normally leave reviews or long comments, but i feel like i should for this, because i enjoyed it That Much. so, here goes.
first of all, i disagree with kaze; i enjoyed all the fights and the moving back and forth through the cast. i enjoy large casts, specially ones with such memorable characters, so for a single volume, this had a decent array to choose from, all with their own charm and appeal. my favorite character was vynn, just so you know. it might have been vein if he weren't... bald... (why would you do this!!! that's my only bad review for you. give them all nice hair).
i must also commend your bravery in creating a homoromantic story and framing it as simple romance instead of attaching the bl tag to it. as resident bl enjoyer i'll be the first to say there's nothing wrong with bl, but the future i envision, if maybe just as a farfetched dream for now, is one where the romance genre is simply labeled romance, regardless of who it's between. in the world of uncrowned, this seems to be accepted as such - never mentioned or questioned, it just is.
i also want to talk about astri as a character. the reason many girls don't read light novels is because 1) most of them are catered to guys and 2) the ones for the "general public" pretty much depict the girls in a way the reader is supposed to lust after them, rather than see them as characters themselves. i never once felt this way for astri; she's a very, very good character on her own, written with respect, and i like her a lot. you had to nerf her or else she woulda beaten everyone on her own with one hand tied to her back, i understand.
also, khan didn't stay with astri bc his red string was tied to pierce, i know this in my heart.
i have more to say but i'm embarrassed already, so i'll tell you privately later and meanwhile will leave you with a clap 👏👏👏 well done, seven! i love you and i love this story and i hope you really do continue it. please take my critique seriously, though. no more bald characters with charming personalities :/ if they're gonna be bald they must be evil and die in one chapter. thank you.
