Thank you for the long and we'll thought out comment. My goal for this prologue was to have an introduction to the characters. You're correct on there not being much of a hook in this chapter since I wrote my hook for the story in the actual chapter 1, so hopefully it pulls you in then. I'm hoping that includes your assumptions of where the story goes as well. And the comment about it feeling like a script beginning, I actually am a scriptwriter, so it just comes out with how I write haha. It makes more sense for me so people can visualize easier what's going on, but I can see how that's vastly different/unorthodox from a normal novel.
I appreciate the comment, and I will strive to do my best with all of my chapters to keep you entertained and wanting more. Thank you!
