It's very inventive the way you succeeded in talking about the complicated relationship between the author and his own fiction. Konoko can't stop the goblin assault easily, even though she's the author. She can't intervene directly in her own fiction because it has acquired a significant degree of autonomy. Konoko's inability to react against her own characters who have become autonomous shows us that fiction acquires its own logic that the author herself will have to obey. It's subtle and interesting!
