When I got my data back, this is the first thing that I went to look for.

Thank you for this amazing ride. Your story screams anime adaptation. You know where my vote will go once you go into the voting stages!

The Consequence of Saving the World

Chapter:30

I think I know where this is going, and it's making me incredibly happy.

Evan defeating Remus would be a hell of an end for this novel.

"I'm not doing this to save you. I'm doing this cause I'm scared. I'm scared to watch a friend die in front of my eyes!"

This hits so goddamn hard. Evan is genuinely an incredible protagonist.

You really captured how someone from a medieval setting would react to a gunshot. Describing it as the instrument of the gods is genius.

Then there's also Remus, who is turning into a character that I absolutely love. I know he's wrong, but I really sympathise with him.

And when you end it by teasing a russian roulette in the next chapter, I am now completely hooked. The combination of tension, emotion and beautiful descriptions make this masterpiece in my eyes.

The only thing I can say is this chapter is a masterpiece.

Even though he's a murderer, you somehow made him seem human. I think for a shounen, this is really really cool. Heck, I'm not sure if your story is even a shounen anymore, it's just so different from the typical ones.

Your way of using metaphors and making them feel fresh and relevant is beautiful. Your prose is really unique, I feel kinda sad that other writers aren't really commenting on your chapters more.

Oh ho! Evan now has to choose between his beliefs or being a simp. But seriously, the inner conflict is incredible.

Absolutely love how you developed the twist from last chapter. The end of this chapter also got me, I giggled a bit.

This has got to be one of the best villain reveals in history. Jesus Christ this PLOT TWIST!

It's amazing and twisted to see Evan's growth. The way you used Evan's trauma in the past chapter creatively here is mindboggling.

Once again, you blew my expectations out of the water. You, sir/ma'am, know exactly how to send the reader into an emotional roller coaster.

I think we all knew that there was no way that Evan was going to win this fight as Remus is still alive in the present. But having both his mum and his sister sacrifice themselves willingly actually made me cry. Eveline in particular, when she stands there ready to fight even though she is as traumatised as anyone else gave me goosebumps.

Even though we only just knew Eveline 2 chapters ago and the mother for like a single scene, you have a talent for making things so impactful. One chapter I am giggling and the next one has me crying. Your chapters are a lot shorter than most of the other front page novels, but your quality trumps quantity.

And the way you just wrap this chapter up is perfect. She said "ew" previously when we see her brother tell her that she saved him from his nightmare. But deep down, I can tell that she's actually happy doing that, hence her last words before she died.

Any other author would use just use this as a scene for Evan's growth since he is the MC, but you went a step further and made this whole past 3 chapters about Eveline being a genuine hero (training, saving someone). The Consequence of Saving the World is a heavy title, but you nailed it
