It's alright. I appreciate all the feedback and am aware of the mistakes, so if it is directed directly at me, I don't need the quotes. As I previously mentioned, I take all the criticism to heart, and I appreciate the time you took to write it all down because not many would find time to do it. Whether it is your hobby or passion or not, it is still something I am very grateful for.
I'm terrible at descriptions; I am fully aware. Sadly, I still struggle to let go of this terrible habit that I have of leaving it to people's imaginations because, myself, I can see the picture clearly. My words, though, don't present the full background, but I am glad you gave me some examples, which I will definitely keep in mind. Less schematical listing, more meaningful details. Describing through all the senses 👍
Proofreading was, especially at this point, done half-assed. I don't want to go into personal life issues that I've had because that's not that important. In general, I managed my time terribly, and I can only blame myself for not having time to check my mistakes more carefully.
English is not my first language, but that doesn't mean that I couldn't have used a more fitting vocabulary or been more weary of the grammar.
I think the biggest reason there are so many flaws in the story is because it's my first ever fully original, finished story. The first one that I wrote in years
I know how it sounds... Like I am making excuses. I just wanted to make it clear that I am on a beginner level when it comes to writing.
