Chapter 1_1: Beginning of the End

A pungent metallic smell pierce my nose, it smells bad and gloomy. I don't know where this smells come from but I think its source is nearby. I also can't see anything, I'm not blind am? My sense slowly came back and I realize that a smooth silk are tied around my head and is blocking my vision. I hear footsteps that keep coming closer toward me. The silk around my head was removed and a blinding light struck my unprotected eye. Steadily my vision came back and I see a slim figure standing in front of me.

She is wearing a white officer uniform of a neighboring kingdom. A leather belt is wrapping her slim hip and an emblem unbeknown to me was sticking at her left chest. Her blue rapier, sheathed on her left hip tells me that she’s a blessed warrior. A warrior with blessings gifted by Gods that can use 6 different elements. Looking up, I caught little bit of her stare and I’m struck dumbfounded. It’s an abyss, a dark twisted world inside this certain person eye. I immediately sway my eye from that stare while she keeps on staring me. I gaze down toward the red carpet and tried to recall everything recently but this unexplainable pain throbs inside my heart every time I tried to remember it.

W-Wasn't I in my sister's room? This morning, I went to my sister's room to ask her something. I also remember my name, it is Miyuki Landrantzel. I'm the second daughter of the king and queen of Landrantzel kingdom.

While I was trying to reason out what is happening to me, I look around closely to see what’s around me. There's a wooden chair and a … body? It’s lying on the floor just behind this certain girl. I feel that I've seen that familiar figure before but the face is covered by her. Then, I looked around and notice that there's blood on the floor. My pupils dilate and I unconsciously take a deep breath. This is something I've never seen before since all of my life are filled with tranquility protected by the castle. Fear started to creeps up my body and surrounding me with darkness. The girl that is standing in front on me bend down and stare directly into my eyes. I see the abyss once more, this tangible feelings was carved deep inside my heart. I realize that this is what peopled described as fear.

"You look pale"

She mutters in a small voice then return to a standing pose. Then, I muster my courage to at least ask her about the basic thing I need to know.

"W-Where am I?"
"You don't have the privilege to ask"

She said that while walking around my back. My vision started to widen and now I can see my surrounding clearly. I'm in the underground prison of the castle, a limited area under watch by the castle guard. But why am I here? It’s still not clear to me, maybe just a little bit of trigger would help me a lot. My eyes now focus to the laying body in front of me, I see the face and loads of memories start to flood my brain. I immediately understand why I recognize that familiar figure. He's my one and only brother. The future king of Landrantzel Kingdom but now he's dead. Not a single essence of life are present in that corpse. Tears begin to flows from my eyes.

"W-What’s the meaning of this? HEY!! ANSWER ME!"
